our process & guidelines
- We request as much information as possible from the village requesting a borehole (pictures, videos, interviews).
- We do not go through government agencies.
- We don’t drill a borehole at anyone’s yard, plot, or farm.
- We don’t drill a borehole for one village but for a community of villages
- We drill in a central location accessible to everyone, and we negotiate with local leaders for no man’s land.
- We access the NEED- meaning we learn how people are currently getting their water: where is the water coming from? how far away is the source? and are there any boreholes or sufficient water sources nearby?
- Once pictures and videos are received, we send our representative to authenticate the NEED and talk to villagers.
- Once these initial steps are completed and local officials have given us a green light, we then work with the drilling company to schedule a drill & borehole installation.
